The Professional Standards Councils’ new Scheme Application Framework has concluded its pilot phase, incorporating improvements and feedback co-designed with occupational associations. It delivers a simpler, clearer way for associations to apply for professional standards schemes, with a strong focus on consumer protection and management of professional risks.
The new Framework is presented in plain English and modular form, with significant improvements in the guidance and templates together with reductions in the volume of materials to be provided.
