We congratulate the Western Australian Bar Association (WABA), Law Society of Western Australia and Victorian Bar Association on the approval of their new Professional Standards Schemes.
“The decision to award a Professional Standards Scheme recognises these associations’ capacity and commitment to be effective self-regulatory organisations, dedicated to improving the professional standards of their memberships,” said the Chief Executive Officer of the Professional Standards Councils, Dr Deen Sanders.
“I am pleased to acknowledge the formal recognition they and their members have following the approval of their Professional Standards Schemes.
“The Western Australian Bar Association and the Law Society of Western Australia now join the Victorian Bar Association as part of a select community of professional associations that have achieved this recognition by government.”
